Healthy School Crusaders

What they Do

The Healthy School crusaders are on a quest to make all children in school healthy and happy.

Their primary aims are:

  1. To raise awareness of the need for healthier lifestyles.
  2. To broaden our understanding of why it is important to be healthy.
  3. To explore ways we can make changes to become more healthier.

March 2019

The Healthy School Crusader team visited our local Tesco store to find out more about where the fruit and vegetables we eat come from.  It was really exciting to find out just how many countries in the world supply our food!  Everyone had an up close encounter with an range of different fish thanks to Billy, the Fishmonger.  We also had a look at the warehouse and the VERY cold deep freeze!  Tesco very kindly gave everyone some fruit to take home too.  An excellent fun and educational afternoon out!
